Luxury SEO consultant
I help luxury fashion, beauty, fragrance and homeware brands get found by new customers, not just people who already know their name. Almost 20 years of experience, from Chanel to Bally to Orlebar Brown.
Founder-led and discreet. I'm used to working within brand guidelines, legal sign-off and global teams.
Brands I work with, or have worked with
Luxury sites are built to look beautiful. Minimal copy, lots of imagery, industry language that customers don't actually type. Your brand name ranks perfectly, but someone searching "tailored swim shorts" or "luxury wallpaper" never sees you.
Generic SEO makes it worse. Keyword-stuffed blocks of text and cheap content damage the brand and rarely work for high-consideration products anyway.
Luxury SEO is a different job. It means finding the searches that bring in new, high-value customers, then winning them in a way that feels right for the brand.
What I do
I've worked inside luxury houses and alongside them, so I know how to get changes through brand, creative and legal teams.
Finding the category and product searches your ideal customer actually uses, and building a plan to win them market by market.
Collection copy, buying guides and editorial that read like your brand. Short where it needs to be, detailed where it earns its place.
Multi-market setups, hreflang, faceted navigation, large catalogues and platform migrations, including Shopify Plus and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Processes so every new collection, drop or fragrance launch goes live with the right SEO foundations already in place.
Making sure ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI results describe your brand accurately and recommend you for the right queries.
Practical sessions for PR, content, ecommerce and leadership teams, so SEO stays in place after I've gone.

How it works
We talk through your store, your goals and what's been tried before. If I'm not the right person, I'll tell you and point you somewhere better.
I review your site, markets, competitors and search data to find where new customers are looking and why they're not finding you yet.
You get a written plan ordered by impact and effort, with tickets your developers or agency can pick up straight away. No 200-page deck.
Every new client starts with an 8-week, no-obligation period, so we can both check the fit before committing. After that, it's a retainer or a fixed project, whichever suits you.
Who you'd be working with
I've spent almost 20 years in SEO and performance marketing, a lot of it in-house and alongside luxury brands like Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Versace, Belstaff and Bally. These days I run Odessa as a founder-led consultancy, so there are no account managers or juniors between us. You talk to me, and I do the work.
Right now I'm consulting directly for Chanel Fragrance & Beauty in the UK and Canada, Orlebar Brown, House of Hackney, Anya Hindmarch and With Nothing Underneath.
Luxury brands can't just add more text and more keywords. The work has to protect brand tone, work within strict creative guidelines and focus on high-value searches rather than volume. It's as much about judgement as technical skill.
Current clients include Chanel Fragrance & Beauty (UK and Canada), Orlebar Brown, House of Hackney, Anya Hindmarch and With Nothing Underneath. Earlier work includes Jimmy Choo, Versace, Belstaff and Bally.
Yes. I work across the UK, Europe, the US and Canada, and a lot of my work involves multi-market sites.
Very little, if done well. Most of the impact comes from technical fixes, structure, metadata and a small amount of well-placed copy. I work with your creative team rather than around them.
Of course. Confidentiality is standard in this sector and I'm happy to work under your terms.
Audits are fixed price and ongoing support is scoped as a retainer. Book a call and I'll give you a clear proposal after I've looked at your site.
Send me a short note about your brand and the markets you care about. I'll have a look before we speak.
I reply to every enquiry myself, usually within one working day.
